He has been associated with the Poznań energy sector since 1993. He began his professional career as a Network Operation Programming Engineer. He subsequently held managerial and management positions. From 2001 to 2002, he was a member of the management board responsible for commercial affairs at Energetyka Poznańska S.A., and from 2003 to 2006, he served as President of the Management Board of EnergoPartner Sp. z o.o. – one of the first companies engaged in wholesale electricity trading.

For five years, he managed the trade department at Enea S.A., then the planning and development department at Enea Operator. In 2013, he was appointed Vice President of the Management Board for Grid Infrastructure, a position he held until December 2021. In 2022, he accepted the position of Operations Director at Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne.

He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Poznań University of Technology, specializing in electrical engineering. Additionally, he completed Management Studies at the Wielkopolska Business School and Studies in Electricity Trading Management at the University of Commerce and Services in Poznań.
