Monika Gruźlewska has been involved in regulatory and public affairs activities for the energy industry for over a decade. For the past few years, she has worked for Poland's largest power producer, coordinating regulations for the district heating segment and activities aimed at public administration. She also gained experience in international communications companies, implementing corporate communications projects for the energy and industrial sectors.
She participates in ministerial working groups, including the Team for Heat Transformation and Determining the Heat Market Operating Model at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. Her expertise includes the transposition of EU regulations into national legislation and the development of regulatory solutions to support the district heating transformation, including in terms of increasing the share of RES, support schemes or tariffs. She is an active participant in legislative work at the government and parliamentary levels.
She is a co-author and coordinator of industry reports on the impact of EU regulations on the decarbonization and electrification of the district heating sector, as well as the author of articles and scientific publications on the energy market.
Since March 2025, Monika Gruźlewska has performed the function of Director of the Polish Thermal Power Association.
