Sławomir Lorek is a local government official, manager, and mathematician. A graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, specializing in theoretical mathematics, and completing many postgraduate studies. Since July 1, 2020, he has served as President of the Management Board of MPEC-Konin Sp. z o.o., and in 2019-2020 as Development and Marketing Director of MPEC-Konin Sp. z o.o. From 2012 to 2018, he served as Deputy Mayor of Konin, previously Director of the II LO in Konin , and Deputy Director of the I LO in Konin. He has been awarded, among others, the Bronze Cross of Merit and the Honorary Badge "For Merit to the City of Konin." In his private life, he is a husband, father, and grandfather. He is passionate about mountain hiking and Nordic walking.
