Julia is an Assistant Investment Manager at Solas Capital, where she focuses on the debt financing of Central and Eastern European and Iberian energy efficiency projects. She has particular expertise in financing of demand-side energy efficiency assets, such as: behind-the-meter battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar PV, as well as deep building retrofits including heating-as-a-service (HaaS) solutions. Julia led the firm's first large-scale behind-the-meter BESS transaction, co-led the financing of Solas's German HaaS portfolio for multifamily residential buildings, and contributed to closing Solas's first deal with a partner from the S&P 500 list.
