serves as Head of Regulation & Public Affairs Poland at EDP, one of the pioneers in Poland’s renewables sector, active in the country since 2007. He is responsible for shaping the regulatory environment and managing relations with public institutions within the renewable energy sector. His role involves engaging in dialogue with public authorities and grid operators as well as actively participating in consultations on key legislative and regulatory initiatives impacting renewables in Poland.
Piotr brings over 11 years of experience in the energy sector, having worked at Poland’s energy regulatory authority (URE), the international law firm Baker McKenzie, and now EDP. He is a qualified attorney-at-law with extensive expertise in regulatory matters, project development, and energy sector transactions. His work has been recognized five times by the prestigious Legal 500 ranking (Poland – Energy and Natural Resources, 2020-2024).
