Vincenzo Bianco has been Full Professor of Industrial Energy Systems at the Department of Engineering, University of Naples “Parthenope”, since January 2023, where he undertakes teaching, research, and organizational responsibilities. From March to December 2022, he was Full Professor at the University of Genoa, where he had served as Associate Professor from 2015 to 2022 and as University Researcher from 2012 to 2014. He obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in sector 09/C2 in 2017. Before entering academia, he worked as Senior Business Analyst at Enel Produzione (2009–2012), focusing on energy-market analysis and modelling, and as Business Analyst at Value Partners Management Consulting (2006–2007). He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2010) and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours (2006). He also attended specialist courses in project modelling and valuation at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance.
