Maciej Janowski is responsible for strategy and business development at Aarx Energy, an energy trading company active in wholesale power trading, balancing and the optimisation of renewable energy and battery storage assets. He has over 14 years of experience in the energy and oil & gas sectors, with a focus on energy and business transformation, trading strategy, operating models, regulation and power market analysis.
Before joining Aarx Energy, he worked at EY Consulting as a Manager in the Business Transformation team, leading advisory and implementation projects for Polish and international energy companies, investors and infrastructure players. Earlier in his career, he gained experience at PGE in wholesale energy trading and strategy, and at PSE, where he led projects related to the development of the European electricity market and international cooperation.
He holds a degree in Energy Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, is an alumnus of the Energy Academy programme of the Lesław A. Paga Foundation, and has completed specialised courses at the Florence School of Regulation.
