Monika Gawlik
Monika Gawlik is an experienced expert in energy law and corporate governance supervision within the fuel and energy sector. Her work combines technical, strategic, and regulatory expertise with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and financial stakeholders. She actively participates in legislative processes governing the district heating, electricity, and fuel markets.
She has extensive experience in senior management positions within public administration, where she has successfully led complex teams, strategic projects, and regulatory and transformation initiatives. Prior to joining the Ministry of State Assets (MAP), she spent many years at the Energy Regulatory Office (URE), where she headed, among other units, the Electricity and Heat Market Department. She has been awarded the Honorary Badge for Merit to the Civil Service. She is also actively involved in supporting the professional development of young specialists by sharing her knowledge and experience in the energy sector.
She holds a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Wojciech Korfanty Upper Silesian School of Commerce. In addition, she completed postgraduate studies in the Electricity, Heat, and Gas Market at the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, as well as postgraduate studies in Administration and Management at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
In 2024, she completed an MBA program with a specialization in Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Transformation at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
